Join us at 11 am on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at the Sparks Florist Design Center for a hands-on workshop where local artistry meets local agriculture.
This is an exclusive opportunity to go behind the blooms with our special guest, Jessy, the owner of Reno Flower Co.! Before you start creating, you'll hear directly from Jessy about the passion and expertise behind her work. She'll share her insights on how she successfully grows beautiful blooms in our unique Northern Nevada climate, the special varieties she grows and partners with other local farms to source, and which flowers thrive in our high desert environment.
Guided by our expert floral designer, Tony Fiannaca, and inspired by Jessy's story, you will learn the art of creating a natural, free-flowing arrangement that feels both timeless and modern. We’ll share professional tips and techniques to help you master the balance, texture, and composition that brings a bouquet to life.
Each participant will take home a fresh flower arrangement they created during the class. All supplies needed to participate are included in the class price. Tools will be provided to use during class or you can choose to purchase your own Florist Tool Kit for $50 (add on below).

You can now choose to upgrade your vase for the class! You can use the standard clear glass vase (included in the price) or upgrade to a beautiful ceramic vase for $20.
The bouquets pictured are examples from the bouquets this year, showcasing the variety you can expect. The variety of flowers for the workshop will be based on grower availability.
Doors open 15 minutes prior to the start time of the workshop. Workshops are for open for ages 8 and up, but all attendees under age 17 must be accompanied by an adult (age 18 & up). Complimentary sparking wine available for adults age 21+ only. Duration is approx. 60 minutes.
