As a Floral Delivery Driver, you are the Final Touch in our chain of excellence. The beautiful work created by our design team relies entirely on you to reach its destination safely, promptly, and with a smile. This role focuses on independent reliability, community connection, and Unifying trust by ensuring every arrangement is delivered in pristine condition. You are the face of Sparks Florist out in the community, and you carry the responsibility of delivering unforgettable moments. 

Key Responsibilities

• The Final Touch (Craftsmanship): Safely transport delicate floral arrangements throughout Reno and Sparks, ensuring they arrive in the same pristine condition they left the design table. 
• Digital Operations & Routing: Proficiently navigate computers, phone apps, and our Point-of-Sale (POS) system. You will be responsible for independently routing your own deliveries, updating order statuses in real-time, and using the POS and app to inform and communicate with customers regarding their deliveries. 
• Exceptional Service (Heartfelt Connection): Communicate effectively, professionally, and warmly with customers, both in-person and digitally, ensuring their needs are met and every delivery feels special. 
• Team & Store Support (Unifying Trust): You are a crucial support system for our Care & Handling team and retail shops. Duties include delivering flower supplies and hard goods between our store locations, taking out the trash, and helping keep the production facility running smoothly during downtime. 
• Fleet Maintenance (Empowered Ownership): Keep your assigned delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained. Perform regular basic checks to ensure it remains in top condition. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Age & Legal Requirements: You must be 21 years of age and will be required to obtain a Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card. 
• Values Alignment: A deep understanding of Heartfelt Connection —realizing that you are delivering an emotional gift, not just a package. 
• Technical Proficiency: Highly comfortable using computers, POS systems, smartphones, and GPS navigation apps. You don’t just follow a map; you actively manage your route digitally.
• Driving Record: A valid Nevada driver’s license and a clean DMV record are strictly required. (Previous delivery or route experience is a big plus!)
• Navigational Skills: Excellent knowledge of the Reno/Sparks local area and the ability to navigate efficiently.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs unassisted, get in and out of a delivery van repeatedly, take out trash, and work flexible/extended hours during peak floral seasons (Valentine’s day, Mother’s Day, etc.).
• Requirements: Due to the use of heavy-duty floral blades, delivery vehicles, and lifting requirements, this is classified as a safety-sensitive position. You must have the ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test. 

Compensation:

Pay from $13.00 per hour
